Effektiv is a Melbourne-based software company focused on AI-powered development for Australian mid-market, enterprise, and government clients. As the successor to WebAlive, which started in Melbourne's Docklands in 2003, Effektiv builds on over twenty years of experience delivering projects across retail, sport, government, health, and industry. This depth of experience sets us apart from newer AI startups. Unlike many software firms that retain the cost savings from AI, Effektiv passes them on to clients. Each project is clearly defined and typically costs 40-60%% less than a standard day-rate contract. Our services include legacy system upgrades, operations and integration, AI adoption, custom software development, customer experience, and ongoing maintenance and SRE. All work is delivered using EffektAI, our own Agentic Development Platform, which ensures Australian data sovereignty and compliance from the start. When the project ends, clients receive full ownership of the platform.
